Her practical approach, a blend of lifelong study and hands-on experience, brings theory to life in tangible, impactful ways.

Karin's unwavering passion lies in coaching teams and leaders, enhancing worksite communication, and supporting leaders in developing cohesive, safety-conscious teams. Her expertise spans various safety systems and people management techniques, leading to successfully implementing integrated teams that effectively use safety management systems, tools, and processes for safer operations and improved performance.

Karin's impressive portfolio is a testament to her expertise and credibility. She has played a pivotal role in supporting drilling campaigns for industry giants such as Exxon Mobil, Total, Shell, BP, Larsen Oil & Gas, KCA Deutag, Transocean, Ocean Rig, ENI Saipem, Seadrill, and Diamond Offshore Rigs, as well as support vessels spanning 35+ campaigns across West Africa, South America, Europe, and Australasia.

Her contributions have included global safety leadership training, on-site safety coaching and training, crew development programmes, senior leaders and executive coaching, safety culture analysis and bespoke programme design. Which have led to safer operations and a lasting impact on their safety performance.

She served as the First Mate on an expedition yacht, leading charters to North and South America, the Falklands, South Georgia, and Antarctica.
